Marc Maron Reschedules "Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee" Show

Paramore reschedules L.A. concert due to COVID-19 but sets spooky makeup date for October

Comedian Marc Maron has announced a rescheduled “Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee” show.

The original date was scheduled for March 21 in Los Angeles and tickets went on sale this morning.

“I had to pull out early, but I am super excited for the new date,” Maron said on his Twitter account. “I don’t think I have time for a second show, sorry.”

A rep shared the following statement with the Times:

“Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee, hosted by Marc Maron, has decided to change the date of the show to be October 5. The show originally sold out on January 16 and is sold out (and on special). He needs more time to prepare.”

Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee has had to take some creative scheduling to accommodate for the COVID-19 guidelines.

On Jan. 16, the comedian announced that his tour would be postponed until after the pandemic. Shortly after, Maron announced the dates for a new date in September during the season of Halloween.

On March 16, Maron posted a photo of himself and his fellow comedian Jim Jefferies, writing: “I have some news: I have a new date in L.A. This show will be September 13. And it will go on as scheduled.”

More than a month later, the show is scheduled for October 5 at the Regent Theater in Hollywood. Check the full updated date for dates and ticket information here.
