I was raised in a family of six, so we knew how to vote and how to stand up for our values. And I, for one, will vote for Republicans who want to restore to our country the values that I grew up with.
I was a Democrat until I was in my mid-teens. The only reason I was a Democrat was because the party stood for the values I had grown up with. Now, of course, it is the party of the left, and its values are socialism, gun control and abortion.
I also remember a guy yelling “Nazi” at a youth camp who was wearing a uniform made of cloth and not plastic.
Of course, today, the left’s vision is to destroy everything America stood for and replace it with a completely socialist vision.
If you want to win over young people, you cannot be a typical Democrat, at least not anymore. Too many people have told you the party has become too liberal, and too radical.
Young people are not easily fooled. They know what you are. And if you continue to play by the rules, they will vote against you.
I remember a time when people would vote for a Democrat because he spoke “progressive” and “liberal.” But today, people vote against their own best interests because they do not have the information they need to make a reasoned choice.
It is up to you to take the high ground, not the low ground. Get out there and inform young people what the party stands for. Tell them what values they are going to lose if they do not vote for Republicans.
If you can persuade them to vote for the right candidate, you will have achieved something that liberals who have always failed at winning young people have failed to do.
