Besides Frieze, Here Are Other Things in London to See

Frieze recently announced an expansion outside of New York City. They’ll be bringing the store to London, of all places, in 2018. This is pretty exciting news for Londoners and travelers looking for new and exciting things to see in the British capital. I’ve been to Frieze London many, many times in the past, but last night’s opening of a second store in town made it feel like we were watching a new chapter of a long-running story.

The Frieze London store, which opens on January 22nd 2018, is just a couple of blocks from the Royal Opera House. I’ll be checking that out during their January opening, and will have more details after I do.

But before I do, let’s check out the other two Frieze stores available in London and share their stories.

Titan

Titan is their flagship store, and it’s the most exciting of things to see in London. I’ve been there dozens of times, and it’s always held me spellbound at every visit.

Titan was opened last month, and the store features a lot of what you might expect from the company: an array of fashion (including some of their most exclusive and expensive items), as well as their home decor and books. There’s also a wide collection of their original music, which is just plain awesome.

I caught up with one of the two (male) employees whose job it was to greet folks as they entered the store to explain a few of the key features of the new store. There will be a separate children’s section that they’ll be adding soon, and he told me it’s also the first store that they’ll be selling all their own pieces, using the same materials that they use in the home decor and furniture in the regular stores.
