Suspect arrested in Stockton serial killings
A 31-year-old man was arrested in Stockton for the unsolved killings of two men and a woman.
On Friday, Nov. 19, the San Joaquin County Sheriff’s Office arrested 31-year-old Matthew David Martinez of Stockton on suspicion of the murders of Daniel Estrada, 51, of Stockton and his girlfriend, Marleni Martinez, 52, of Stockton.
The killings occurred at the same cabin complex where a couple had been shot in May, and authorities had initially said it was murder, but had later revised their statement.
The killings happened on June 20, 2019 in the Rancho San Antonio area of Stockton.
San Joaquin Sheriff’s Office is not releasing the names of the victims.
Matthew David Martinez is being held without bail, and the San Joaquin County District Attorney’s Office has not yet charged him with any crimes.
